Great Qin: A Prisoner from the Start? Teaching the First Emperor from My Cell

Fu Hong’s death-row cell became the highest academy in the Great Qin Empire.

Student One: The naive young master Fusu, who regularly begs through tears, “Teacher, I don’t want the empire to fall!”

Student Two: The burly Zhou Heiniu, whose motto is, “Whoever insults Teacher, I’ll beat them up!”

Auditor: Qin Shi Huang Ying Zheng, taking notes more diligently than anyone else.

Courses include: “How to Gracefully Beat the Xiongnu,” “Getting Inside the Heads of the Nobles of the Six States,” and “The Emperor’s Essential Guide to Machiavellianism”...

Graduation requirement: Prevent the Great Qin Empire from falling after just two generations.

Ying Zheng: “Teacher, are we covering ‘Immortality’ next class?”

Fu Hong: “...Your Majesty, this is a science channel.”

Looking at the First Emperor and his son, both eager for knowledge, Fu Hong sighed. “I just want to die quickly. Why is that so hard?”
