I spent three years working like a beast, and all I got was being called “useless.”
My mother-in-law slapped me, my sister-in-law spat on me, and my wife flirted with her first love right in front of me.
The day we divorced, I left with nothing. They laughed, saying I was finally out of their lives.
But just after I walked out of the civil affairs bureau, three Rolls-Royces blocked my way. The butler dropped to his knees and shouted:
“Young Master, your three-year trial is over. Please return and inherit the trillion-dollar fortune!”
At that moment, I smiled.
Later, my ex-wife's company went bankrupt, and she knelt outside my office, crying and begging me to take her back. With one arm around my new girlfriend's waist, I asked her gently:
“Excuse me, do you have an appointment?”
