Wang Ping, young sect master of the Qinglan Sect, has reached the pinnacle of swordsmanship. Known as the Qingping Sword Venerable, he is the foremost figure beneath the Three Heavenly Venerables.
Just one step away from becoming sect master, he is ambushed, his soul scattered for five hundred years.
Five hundred years later, the Qinglan Sect has grown even more domineering. Lin Wen, an outer sect disciple who has suffered endless oppression, risks his life to avenge a blood feud and performs the forbidden art of soul searching. By chance, he awakens the remnant soul of Wang Ping, who attaches itself to his body.
The Sword Venerable of old now inhabits the body of an ant.
Upon his return, old grudges remain unsettled and new enmities pile up.
Watch as the Qingping Sword Venerable takes up his sword once more, crushes the sect's hypocrisy, sweeps aside powerful enemies across the heavens, and reaches the summit again in an ordinary mortal's body!
