[Unquestionably the heroine + two empresses + disguised as a boy + born into the body + no romance for the heroine]
Born into the body in ancient times, she nearly gets strangled by her own mother at birth simply because she isn’t a boy.
Moved by compassion, the Empress disguises Yan Jiu as a boy, making her the ninth prince of the Yong Dynasty.
Everyone praises Yan Jiu as a child born under a lucky star: gentle, kind, and born with the bearing of a future ruler. They all hope she will ascend the throne.
Yan Jiu smiles. “Rather than sit on the dragon throne myself, I’d rather help my mother take the supreme seat.”
First, I’ll ascend the throne disguised as a man and govern from behind the curtain, paving the way for her;
When the time is right, I’ll reveal that I’m a woman in front of everyone, then step down in her favor;
I’ll help her break an age-old rule and become the Yong Dynasty’s first empress!
Once my mother has accomplished her mission and retired, I’ll take control of the realm again as a woman.
This kingdom will be ruled by women!
[Reader’s note:
1. This is not a conventional story. The protagonist is born into the body, while supporting characters may transmigrate, be reborn, or return to life in another body.
2. The heroine has no romantic pairing.
3. The next generation will definitely have an empress.]
It's good to watch. Not only do I like the subject matter, but also the relationship between the queen and the concubine is irresistible, whether they are a couple or a subordinate. The normal plot of sisters being more powerful than strangers makes me feel comfortable.
It's good to watch, I look forward to more female characters, and I'm really looking forward to the stories that follow.
