As a child, Ye Bai suffered severe brain damage, which made everything he saw look like a duck and everything he heard sound like a duck’s “quack.” That was all well and good, until a bizarre livestream suddenly began. Ye Bai was transported into a rules-based horror scenario to compete alongside people from other countries. The terrifying, inexplicable entities that others saw all looked like ducks to him, and the eerie whispers and strange sounds others heard were all “quack, quack, quack” in his ears. In a fit of anger, Ye Bai grabbed one of the entities and smacked it twice across the face, then promptly threw it out the door.
