The Rise of Kowloon City: It Starts with Smuggling Penicillin

Period setting + Hong Kong crime drama + passionate action + no System + elite soldier + decisive and ruthless + patriotism

Reborn in 1950, just as war broke out on the Korean Peninsula.

The Western powers had laid a vast, inescapable net, imposing a severe embargo on China. Penicillin, gasoline, rubber... even a single screw was kept under tight guard!

Lin Feng, an elite soldier from the 21st century, is reborn as a seventeen-year-old low-level thug in Kowloon's Walled City.

Reading in the papers about his countrymen suffering, and facing the arrogant blockade enforced by British and American agents, Lin Feng tramples his enemies underfoot and roars:

“If the foreigners won't sell it to us, I'll sell it! If the foreigners won't let it through, I'll transport it!”

Starting with a shipment of penicillin stained with blood, he uses an iron fist to bring Kowloon's Walled City to heel. Joining forces with Mr. Huo, he establishes a red supply route from Hong Kong to the mainland!

He is the underground emperor of Kowloon's Walled City, a nightmare to the four major trading houses, and a red capitalist feared by the British and Americans!

Years later, when the motherland's aircraft carrier fleet sails through Victoria Harbour, Lin Feng, now the richest man in the world, stands atop the city wall and says, “This age of prosperity is just as you wished.”
