The Legend of Hei: Gods in the Land, Demons in This World

He transmigrates into the world of Luo Xiaohei as a Spiritual Stone Monkey and names himself Sun Wukong.

(Just writing this for myself, so don’t read it if you’re not interested. No female lead.) (There are plenty of original elements, such as Yang Jian appearing here.)

No System, no reliance on fate. Drawing on a transmigrator’s foreknowledge, he painstakingly develops the appearance of the Great Sage Equal to Heaven, mastering the Imperial Spirit disciplines of Metal, Fire, Thunder, and Earth, along with multiple spiritual spaces.

At 2,500 years old, he looks like a rebellious young man, but inside he’s a carefree good-for-nothing.

A red hat covers his ears, his hoodie bears a “Bima Wen” doodle, and his tail is tucked into his waistband. His daily routine consists of gaming, boosting accounts, drinking peach soda, picking fights with Nezha, mooching off Lao Jun, and racing modified motorcycles.

He refuses a position at the Spirit Management Bureau, working only as a bounty hunter who gets paid for the job. He takes life easy and does everything for a laugh.

But nobody knows that this carefree Sun Liu (later, he’ll pretty much just be called Sun Wukong)

once struck a devastating blow in Naga’s territory in the Northern Region, nearly dispersing him with a single staff swing;

that he complains about Wuxian being expressionless all the time, yet is more dependable than anyone when it matters;

and that he bickers with Nezha and Yang Jian and wrecks their homes every day, even though they’ve been ride-or-die friends for a thousand years.

(A trash synopsis, but let’s see if I can scare you off. Hehehe.)
