Character Profiles:
· Su Mingyi (heroine): 168 cm tall, 22 years old. Outwardly a proud, radiant Shanghai socialite, she is in truth a courageous, discerning woman who cares deeply about her country.

Highlights:
· Irresistible contrast: The spirited young heiress takes the lead and flirts every which way, while her assassin bodyguard appears unmoved but is falling apart inside.
· Two powerful leads grow together: Their relationship goes from “quietly protecting her” to “fighting side by side,” as their love is tempered and elevated by war and faith.
· Swept up in the times: Their personal feelings are deeply bound to the fate of their country, blending romance with fiery passion.
In a nutshell: What begins as a calculated “hero saves the beauty” becomes a profound love story, as two souls light each other’s way through turbulent times and pursue their ideals together.
