A child born with the ability to attract ghosts, and a Taoist grandfather who keeps his true abilities hidden.
A fierce ghost sealed away for years, and a showdown that shakes the whole village.
The story begins with my childhood and that of my childhood friend, Zhao Xiaochuan. Through several standalone rural supernatural incidents, such as a water ghost dragging someone off as a substitute, strange noises from an ancestral grave, and a bride being wed at night, we see how Grandpa Zhao Sanyuan secretly solves these problems, while Zhao Xiaochuan's unusual gift begins to emerge. The story also explores how the era's particular circumstances affect people like Grandpa, as their legacy is passed down in secrecy.
