The Untamable Country Lad: His Sweet Wife Is Forced to Act Coy

[Extreme height difference + fiercely protective + building wealth + face-slapping]

Xu Zhiyi, who came from the city, is known as a “delicate little thing.” She cries when she has to work in the fields and cries when bugs scare her.

When she slaps a severance letter down in front of her greedy parents, everyone thinks she's gone mad.

That is, until she marries He Sheng, the rough country man who can tear a wild boar apart with his bare hands.

Her awful relatives sneer, “Just wait. With He Sheng's temper, he'll beat her out of the house sooner or later.”

But what everyone sees is He Sheng carrying Xu Zhiyi along the field ridges, peeled wild fruit in hand. When Xu Zhiyi gets so much as a nick on her finger, He Sheng is so worried he can't sleep all night.

“He Sheng, be gentle...”

“Good girl, I haven't finished applying the medicine.”
