The Tang Mystery Squad Saves the Great Tang

Su Wuming dreams that an unprecedented rebellion has erupted across the Tang Empire. Smoke and flames sweep across the land, blades flash and clash, and blood stains the rivers and mountains. Ruined walls stand amid a wasteland strewn with corpses. The once-prosperous city gates of Chang'an crash to the ground, and a raging fire burns for three days and nights, devouring palaces and streets. Charred wood and stone mingle with scarlet bloodstains. The air reeks of blood and rust, mingled with the stench of decay and the acrid smell of burning. Everywhere he looks, he sees an apocalyptic landscape of devastation and despair. Lu Lingfeng and Yingtao die in battle. Lao Fei and Xijun die before his eyes. The emperor is forced to flee west, and the entire Tang Empire is plunged into a war of blood and fire.

When he wakes, Su Wuming vows to change everything. He will keep Yingtao alive, see Lu Lingfeng and Xijun happily married for a hundred years, and make sure Lao Fei always has chicken to eat and wine to drink. He will save the Tang Empire!
