The Three Realms are no longer the legendary universe. The four masters and disciples of Monk Tang embarked on the westward journey. They thought it was a smooth road to obtain the true scriptures and save all sentient beings, but step by step they stepped into a carefully woven web. Guanyin Bodhisattva's jade bottle contains rancid blood, Taishang Laojun's alchemy furnace burns wailing souls, and even the Buddha in Xitian Lingshan has countless tentacles crawling under his golden body.
Only a few gods stick to their true intentions: the victorious Buddha (Sun Wukong in his previous life) has a fiery eye that can see through the camouflage of treacherous things, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva has built a defense line in the depths of hell, and Zhen Yuanzi uses ginseng fruit trees to maintain the last breath of heaven and earth. When the Bible-seeking team discovers that the so-called "true scripture" is just a bait used by strange creatures to harvest faith, should they tear this hypocritical way of heaven apart, or find a way out in the endless treachery?
