Reborn in Entertainment: When the System Crashes, I Conquer the Music Scene

Female characters tentatively planned: Liu Qianqian, Luo Baowen, and Mai Kuraki.

The male lead will study traditional Peking opera and Kunqu opera, as well as traditional instruments: the dizi flute and Jinghu fiddle.

The pacing is relatively slow and relaxed.

Wang Xiaofan, a nobody singing in bars while trying to make it in Beijing, wakes up one day reborn in the winter break of his freshman year in 2002. Faced with a System offering him a choice of “vocal ability, song repertoire, or looks,” he greedily picks all three. The System crashes, vanishing after a garbled prompt. Fortunately, the abilities remain. Unfortunately... they don't seem to have worked quite right? In an 18-year-old body, he has the soul of a 40-year-old. Armed with “superpowers” gained by exploiting a bug, Wang Xiaofan decides to sing at bars in Sanlitun to save up for tuition. What he doesn't expect is that the first batch of “graduation-season hits” he performs will draw the attention of a mysterious, taciturn customer in black-rimmed glasses.
