I Promise You a Storm

[Cool, aloof top student × sunny, popular heartthrob]

Chen Zhu thought life was a lonely island, until Xu Xingyang burst into it like a storm that refused to play by the rules.

When they first met, Chen Zhu was the quietest shadow in a corner of the library, while Xu Xingyang was the brightest light on the basketball court. A chance “quiet encounter” set their parallel lines twisting wildly together.

They shared the sweetest moments of falling in love and endured the most painful push and pull. They tested the waters until they knew how they felt, and saw each other’s sincerity through misunderstandings. When the crashing waves of reality threatened to tear them apart, Chen Zhu built a seawall with his silent devotion, while Xu Xingyang charged forward without hesitation, breaking through every obstacle.

It turned out that when two lonely souls collide, it isn’t to find warmth, but to become each other’s one and only salvation and home.

“Xu Xingyang, if the wind had a shape, it would be me, rushing toward you.”

“Chen Zhu, hold on to me. Don’t let go.”
