My Years as a Taoist: The Heretical Taoist

I’m the last-generation heir of Maoshan, ordered to descend the mountain and purge the sect of its traitors.

But the first “menace” I encounter turns out to be a thousand-year-old fox demon disguised as the campus belle.

Even more outrageous, she not only helps me catch ghosts, she always messes with me while I’m performing rituals: “Big Brother Daoist, you drew that talisman crooked~”

It isn’t until the day my senior fellow disciples surround her that I realize I can’t bring myself to strike.

“Wretched disciple! Don’t you know humans and demons belong to different worlds?”

I step in front of her and bite my fingertip. “Starting today, I’m no longer a Daoist priest.”
