The Ye family, a hereditary duke’s household in a mortal dynasty, was slaughtered after offending cultivators. Twelve-year-old Ye Chen happened to be out playing and narrowly escaped the massacre. Burdened with a blood feud, he embarked on the path of cultivation. After enduring countless hardships, he passed a sect’s trial, only to be rejected because he was born with a mixed Five Elements spiritual root. Forced to become a rogue cultivator, he stumbled upon a mysterious powerhouse’s cave dwelling and obtained a priceless treasure, only to be hunted by powerful factions. While fleeing, he fell into a wormhole and unexpectedly transmigrated to the world of Versatile Mage. There, he relied on his cultivation to make his way in a different world.
