Emperor Hades is so powerful, but he just doesn't have a good brain. Since he knew the villain early, he shouldn't have solved it early. Why stay there all the time?
It's still self-flagellation, but it's much better than before. At least it's not mindless self-flagellation, and it has a logical closed loop, so it's okay.
