The top student Lu Chen stumbled upon a face identical to his own in a poor alley in the South District.
That was Lin Yi, a boy who lived beyond the rules. The two should never have crossed paths, but a bizarre campus mystery forced them together. When Lu Chen pulled on a denim jacket and walked into a graffiti-lined alley, and Lin Yi put on a school uniform and stepped into a glass tower, each saw, for the first time, what was missing from his own world.
But their game of swapping identities gradually spiraled out of control. A missing older brother, secrets kept by their fathers, a carefully planned scam... Every clue pointed to the buried truth: their "resemblance" was itself a cruel accident, engineered by competing interests.
When the mastermind tried to devour everything they held dear, Lu Chen and Lin Yi stood on the same side of the mirror. This is a youthful battle over identity, class, and blood ties. Above the vast cracks in the city, the two "mes" stood back to back and finally learned to fight side by side.
When perfection develops cracks, and rebellion learns to protect, only after seeing another version of yourself can the world begin to feel whole.
The story firmly grabbed my attention at the beginning. As the plot progressed layer by layer, the fate of the characters was ups and downs, which made me completely forget about the passage of time and just wanted to keep watching. It was super interesting.
