[Hong Kong Crossover] [Supernatural] [Mystery] [Farming and Character Growth] [Decisive and Ruthless]
Reborn in Kowloon Walled City in 1975, Gu Tian opens his eyes to find he has become a compulsive gambler and charlatan, buried under a mountain of loan-shark debt!
But that’s not even the worst part. The nine clay dolls enshrined at home have come to life!
“Daddy, I’m hungry!”
“Daddy, if you don’t feed us, we’ll eat you!”
Faced with nine ravenous “ghost children” who will devour their master if they don’t get incense offerings, Gu Tian can only press on, tears in his eyes, down the one-way road to becoming a “psychic detective.”
The Yin-Yang Pawnshop opens, letting him see the lingering obsessions of the dead at a glance!
A locked-room murder that has the four great police chiefs stumped? Big Bao (the Strength Ghost): “Daddy, there’s a corpse inside the wall!”
The mighty Ho Shau-fu can’t find the mole in his organization? Second Ya (the Mind-Reading Ghost): “Daddy, he’s thinking about betraying the boss!”
From a lowly charlatan in the Walled City to the richest man in Hong Kong, with influence over both sides of the law.
Lei Luo: “Whatever Mr. Gu says is evidence!”
The governor: “Who would dare stand in Sir Gu’s way?”
Gu Tian lights a stick of premium dragon’s-blood incense and looks at the nine terrifying Ghost Kings behind him. “Honestly, all I wanted back then was to earn enough to get by…”
I still want to see alternative themes!!! I'm tired of seeing the rest. Haha^_^
