An extreme cold disaster strikes the world and civilization collapses. Fu Xiang, a handyman at a municipal scientific research institute, narrowly survives an equipment explosion and unexpectedly awakens the "memory exchange" ability - he can exchange memories with others, but at the cost of short-term amnesia and severe headaches.
He teamed up with his colleague Lao Zhang and survivor Zhao Qiang to survive. They encountered gangs of looters who burned, killed and looted. They escaped death several times based on their abilities. They heard that "Dawn Camp" was a paradise for survivors, so they went there together. However, the camp leader Chen Ke (Fu Xiang's college roommate) actually plagiarized Fu Xiang's idea of a new post-disaster order, tampered with the core concepts, and established a hierarchical system of oppression. Fu Xiang, who discovered the truth, united with the resisters in the camp to expose Chen Ke's hypocritical face, and established the "Candlelight Camp" after breaking through.
