Bottom-Ranking Cop: Catching Criminals with a Mystery Box System

I opened my eyes to find myself a low-ranking beat cop, the bottom of my police academy class. My days were spent dealing with petty theft and other minor crimes, and life was so dull it could grow mold. Then one day, a sudden chime rang in my mind: “Congratulations, Host, you have activated the ‘Reverse Koi’ blind box System!” In my first box, I drew a god-tier arrest experience pack. That very night, I casually caught a serial killer who had been wanted for ten years. The whole department was stunned. Had this guy just gotten ridiculously lucky? That was before I started getting an itch to open a box every day. Today I’d draw “Techniques for Tracking Home Invaders,” tomorrow I’d get “A Fraudster’s Psychological Profile.” When hunting drug dealers, I could find their hideouts with my eyes closed, just by following the scent in the air. When chasing fugitives across provincial borders, I could pop out to buy a pack of cigarettes and run into the ringleader who’d been on the run for eight years... The chief summoned me in a panic. “Cut it out! If you keep making arrests like this, we’ll run out of criminals in the whole city!”
