Journey to the West: I'm the Executioner at the Dragon Execution Platform

The male protagonist transmigrates to the eve of the Journey to the West, where he is a Tang Dynasty executioner with half Wu Clan blood. From the start, Wei Zheng borrows his services, and he beheads the Jing River Dragon King in a dream, activating the “Book of Sin.” He discovers that the so-called pilgrimage to the West is really a scam in which the gods and Buddhas treat mortals like cattle, harvesting their worship and fortune. Using his position as cover, he executes death-row prisoners at the public execution grounds while secretly killing monsters and demons wreaking havoc in the mortal realm, along with even immortals who have violated the laws of Heaven. He forms an alliance with a demon-born imperial consort, hidden deep within the palace and intent on overthrowing the Li Tang dynasty. She manipulates the court and the inner palace, while he deals death at execution grounds across the land. As the Book of Sin fills in, he gains the divine powers of the ancient Ancestral Witches. In the end, he storms Lingxiao Palace and reorders the Three Realms.
