Reborn on the Ice: The Road to Championship, Starting at Six

At 26, Lin Xue collapsed on the Winter Olympic ice, falling just short of a medal. The doctor sighed. “You started too late. Your bones have already finished developing.”

When she opened her eyes again, she was back in 2006, in her own six-year-old body.

This time, she carried the regrets and memories of her past life as she took up a tiny pair of skates. Starting with the most basic skating skills, she would use scientific training to overcome every technical flaw, and draw on her classical dance and violin background to create an artistic style unlike anyone else’s.

From being criticized for “performing with too much maturity” to earning perfect marks for artistry, from fighting alone to gaining legions of devoted “Snow Fans,” Lin Xue proved through a lifetime of love across two lives: when your skills are strong enough, the rules will change for you.

This is a story of being reborn, of passion, and of the pursuit of perfection. When the soul of a 26-year-old inhabits a six-year-old body, she will rewrite not only her own fate, but the rules of the entire figure-skating world.

The ice remembers every dancer who skates with all her heart. This time, she will make the world remember her name.
