This is an ancient palace novel, and I am really fascinated by it the more I read it. The heroine originally entered the palace as a substitute for marriage, but the road ahead looked full of ups and downs and she couldn't help herself. But she did not stay weak and aggrieved. She relied on her sobriety and resilience to gain a foothold in the palace step by step. From the emperor's initial temptation and defensiveness to his gradual attraction and preference, the emotional line is particularly delicate and touching. The calculations of the harem and the complexity of the human heart are very real. The words are not gorgeous, but it makes me feel warm and comfortable when reading it. It is a sweet palace novel worth reading.
