At the end of the Sui Dynasty and the beginning of the Tang Dynasty, Turkic tribes from northern Xinjiang frequently invaded the south, and the border residents were displaced. An elite team of eighteen dead soldiers, the "Eighteen Riders of Yanyun", appeared out of the blue. They were dressed in black armor and had scimitars hanging on their waists. They often rushed to the Turkic camps at night. Rivers of blood flowed wherever they passed, but they also built a bloody barrier for the people on the border. The world only knows their reputation, but they don't know their origins and past, let alone the grievances and struggles hidden behind this legendary team.
