Wanderer of the Classic of Mountains and Seas: Hunting Gods in the Lost Realm of Yin Shang

The Wanderer of Mountains and Seas: Hunting Gods in the Ruins of Yin-Shang

Lin Ye, an outdoor adventure blogger, falls through a mysterious bronze gate while livestreaming from Kunlun and transmigrates to the “Ruins of Yin-Shang,” a fantastical world where the fleeing people of Yin-Shang coexist with strange beasts from the Classic of Mountains and Seas.

Here, the myriad eastern clans of mountains and seas follow an ancient way of coexistence, while an army of western gods crosses between planes, bent on devouring this fertile land of spirits.

Lin Ye awakens the power of the “Wanderer of Mountains and Seas,” earning the favor of the myriad clans and gaining the ability to devour and evolve. With modern knowledge and survival skills honed to the limit, he astonishes primitive tribes by making fire with sticks, then kills angels with terrain-based tactics. He breaks through the Fox Clan’s illusions and commands Zhēng and Qiongqi to form an army of ferocious beasts.

When the ancient city of Chaoge is rebuilt and the war between the eastern and western gods erupts in full, he has become the sovereign of the mountains and seas. But the truth is cruel: the western gods are actually “God-Eaters” who plunder worlds, and Earth is their next target.

“Everyone in the livestream,” Lin Ye says calmly from the summit of Kunlun, facing the global signal as it reconnects. “Last time, I taught you how to survive in the wilderness. This time, let’s change the subject...”

Behind him, dragon shadows coil as the myriad beasts growl.

“I’ll show you what the Twilight of the Gods really looks like.”
