[Two male leads, one-on-one, both pure + second chance at love + showbiz + powerful families + healing romance with angst + romantic tension]

A writing-practice work. Read with caution.

[Gentle, teasing, guiding top × tsundere, easily flustered, adorable bottom]

They meet again at a banquet, both pretending to be strangers. In the end, Pei Qinghuan can’t hold back. He hooks a finger around the other man’s tie, tugs him close, and bends down for a light kiss.

“You’re so young,” Gu Jingmo says with a helpless smile. “How come that’s all you ever think about...”

First attempt: failed.

At the bar, Pei Qinghuan has just finished flirting when he’s bundled into a car and taken back to the villa.

Gu Jingmo gently lifts his chin with a fingertip. They’re so close they can see every flicker in each other’s eyes. Pei Qinghuan’s breath catches. He closes his eyes without thinking, his fingers gripping the bedsheet beneath him.

The touch he expects never comes.

A low chuckle sounds right beside him, shattering the charged silence between them.

Pei Qinghuan opens his eyes and meets Gu Jingmo’s deep, teasing gaze.

“What are you thinking?” Gu Jingmo straightens up and lets go, then calmly adjusts the belt of his bathrobe. “I’m not the kind of person who kisses just anyone. Not without a proper relationship.”

Second attempt: failed.

Then, “You said you wanted to pursue me, but you still won’t make things official. Don’t tell me you’re seeing someone else on the side. Is he as handsome as me, or richer?”

“So when are you going to make things official?”

“But I’m jealous. When are you going to give me a proper title?”

“I’ll do whatever you say. But you have to give me something to look forward to, Lord Pei. The internet keeps pairing you with other people, while I, your actual partner, don’t even have a title. It’s so unfair.”
