Raising an Infinite Astartes Army to Forge a Republic

When the soul of engineer Lin Chen awakens in a cold mechanical body, he discovers he has arrived in the most desperate universe of all: Warhammer 40K. It is an age when humanity clings to survival in the darkness, with lies and superstition as its last line of defense. But he is not alone. He has brought with him a super artificial intelligence named “Prometheus,” a vast treasury containing all the knowledge and technology of humanity’s lost Golden Age.

He finds himself on a forgotten Forge World about to be overrun by Orks. Despair is the only tune played here. But Lin Chen refuses to give in. Using Prometheus as his fulcrum, he restarts ancient factories, awakens the Iron Legions, and uses lost genetic technology to create a new kind of Astartes, loyal to reason and truth.

He intends to build not another tyrannical empire, but an unprecedented “Astartes Republic,” where knowledge replaces superstition, progress replaces decay, and every human life has value. He will lead this fledgling force against every horror in the universe: endless Ork hordes, the insidious whispers of Chaos, the arrogant fleets of xenos, and the crumbling Imperium of Man, which sees him as the ultimate heretic.
