While Others Get Face-Slapped, I Sit Back and Watch the Drama

Palace Intrigue! High Status! HE! A Clever Lead

Ideally, an ensemble cast with women supporting one another. I want high-born characters, not stories about slowly climbing the ranks. Most importantly, the characters must be smart, and the supporting cast shouldn't be treated like idiots! Something that's both enjoyable and moving.
