The work focuses on the reality and cruelty of the battlefield behind enemy lines: blockade, pursuit, identification, informing and fear are everywhere; but equally ubiquitous is the tenacity of ordinary soldiers, the responsibility of commanders, and those who are still willing to reach out in the dark. It writes that the War of Resistance is not only about gunfire, but also about perseverance - perseverance to not retreat, perseverance to avoid chaos, and perseverance to keep hope on the land.
