An accident and a jar of discarded potion turned Polly into the little tagalong Severus Snape couldn't shake off, couldn't let go of, and could never abandon.

Potions Class gained a well-behaved apprentice who dutifully passed him cauldrons and measured ingredients with perfect precision;

It looks okay so far, but I have a question, how old was the heroine when she first arrived at Sif's house? I think it says 3 years old. But then why are we in the same grade as Harry and the others? When I went to see Draco, it was written that Draco was 7 years old, so the heroine should also be 7 years old. Why did Sev's record say that she was 3 to 4 years old?
