There is an unknown rule hidden at three o'clock in the morning in the old city - only the "chosen ones" can see the dilapidated house at the end of the alley with a wooden sign saying "Exchange Office". Unemployed and frustrated, Chen Wang accidentally discovered the secret here: he can exchange any wish with the "abnormal things" around him. A rusty old key brought three days of good luck, but made the neighbor's clock start to speak human language; a yellowed graduation photo gave clues to a missing friend, at the cost of having to listen to absurd stories on the radio every night. Each exchange is accompanied by a bizarre chain reaction, with walking suitcases, newspapers that can exchange memories, and ghosts who must complete absurd tasks one after another. Chen Wan is forced into a whirlpool full of black humor. He gradually discovers that the exchange office not only hides secrets that span decades, but is also connected to an "abnormal world" that subverts cognition. In the game between desire and price, he must find the truth in the absurd, otherwise he will eventually be swallowed by the "abnormality" he exchanged.
