The Further Adventures of Chu Liuxiang: Jade-Faced Shura

On a cold night in Jiangnan, the entire household of the jade-faced young master Shen is slaughtered, and the sinister “Asura Mark” reappears in the martial world, drawing attention to the secrets behind the Asura Tower’s destruction ten years ago. At Su Rongrong’s invitation, Chu Liuxiang joins the investigation. Starting with a coded message in a red-gold plum blossom and half of a jade pendant bearing the character “Yun,” he gradually uncovers the scheme of Jiangnan tycoon Qian Wanguan. Along the way, the Cold Moon Fairy Liu Ruyan lends a hand with a keepsake, while Su Wanqing, a former maid of the Asura Tower, makes a perilous appearance. The three women travel alongside Chu Liuxiang as they pursue clues through Suzhou, Hangzhou, Huangshan, and beyond.

As one murder after another takes place, Chu Liuxiang discovers that the killings are about more than revenge. They conceal the secret of the Asura Tower’s treasure and the subversive ambitions of a mysterious organization known as the Dark Shadow Pavilion. He unites the forces of the martial world and engages in a climactic showdown with Qian Wanguan and the Dark Shadow Pavilion, revealing the truth behind Shen Qinghong’s death and the full story of the Asura Tower’s downfall. In the end, Chu Liuxiang dismantles the evil forces, only to discover unexpectedly that the Dark Shadow Pavilion was merely a pawn in an even greater crisis. Once the dust settles, each woman makes her own choice, and the wandering hero Chu Liuxiang sets off once more to continue his legend of protecting the martial world and the realm. Blending mystery, martial arts, and chivalrous romance, the novel weaves together Jiangnan’s misty rains and the shifting tides of the martial world to tell a suspenseful, action-packed tale of a wandering hero.
