A Drama Queen in the Cold Palace: Winning Over the Tyrant with My Acting

Su Wan, a top modern-day PR queen, transmigrates into the body of an abandoned concubine in the Cold Palace. Her family has been convicted of a crime, she’s trapped in a desperate situation, her dilapidated house leaks, and she can barely manage three meals a day. She has no golden finger, and must turn her fate around using nothing but psychology and crisis-management skills. She cleverly stages an auspicious omen to catch the emperor’s attention, then leaves him with a fleeting impression by burying flowers in the rain. When summoned before him, she admits her guilt without either groveling or losing her composure, her words sharp with hidden meaning as she outsmarts the other women in the harem. From lowly concubine to the emperor’s favorite, she advances with every step planned, wielding the power of thunder beneath a fragile exterior. Anyone who stands in her way becomes a stepping stone, and even the tyrant becomes her perfect client. This time, she will claim the throne as empress, command the tides of power, and become the most revered woman in the dynasty.
