The Demon Lord Is Reborn to Protect the Nation and Save Its People

Liu Wusheng, a mighty cultivator at the pinnacle of tribulation in the Demon Realm, fails his ascension tribulation and is reduced to ashes. At the moment of his destruction, the soul power he had amassed at the tribulation pinnacle carries his natal spirit weapon with him as he is reborn into a peasant family in Huaguo on Earth. It is the time of the Japanese invasion, and the entire village is massacred. Hidden away, he is the only one to survive. A wandering master finds him, takes him back to a Taoist temple, and raises him under the Taoist name Wuchen. As Wuchen grows up, his past and present selves merge. The weight of his past-life sins is too great, so he changes his cultivation path to one of meritorious virtue, protects his country and saves its people, and cultivates the Great Dao anew. In the end, he ascends to immortality.
