The Victorious Fighting Buddha Was Cast Down, Then Went on a Killing Spree as an Ox Slave

Once the Great Sage Equal to Heaven, the Victorious Fighting Buddha Sun Wukong dared to challenge the Tathagata and expose the Buddhist order's corruption. For that, he was cruelly demoted, most of his Buddha power sealed away, and reduced to the lowliest ox slave in the Bull Demon King's manor.

The glory of once sweeping through the celestial armies and commanding awe across the Three Realms had given way to enduring humiliation. Everyone in the manor bullied him at will, while minor demons he had once subdued now held high positions. When they came to banquets, they mocked him without mercy and trampled on his dignity. To protect the thousand or so monkeys of Water Curtain Cave and find a chance to rise again, Sun Wukong kept his claws sheathed, endured half a month of humiliation, slogged through countless filthy, backbreaking tasks, and silently bided his time as they beat and berated him.

But his patience won no sympathy. It only encouraged them to go further. At a banquet in the Bull Demon King's manor, the crab demon who served as the head of Liusha Pavilion provoked him in front of everyone, kicking over his tea and hurling insult after insult, finally igniting the Great Sage's fury.

His Buddha power broke free, and his full might blazed forth! One slap shattered his humiliation; one pair of hands snapped the swaggering bully. The Great Sage's old, overwhelming presence swept across the hall once more, terrifying the demons out of their wits and making even the Bull Demon King wary.

He thought he was making a desperate last stand, but the Bull Demon King's strange words held a hidden meaning: “That slap has actually given you a chance to turn things around.”

Patience is a time to bide your strength, not a sign of weakness. Humiliation is only the prelude to a comeback. When the Great Sage casts off his shackles and regains his edge, those who bullied him will pay a hundredfold! Watch the Victorious Fighting Buddha shed his Buddhist robes and wreak havoc across the Three Realms once more in his monkey form, protecting his fellow monkeys, avenging past humiliation, and reclaiming the summit!
