A Forest of Her Own

[School Life + Healing + Devoted Couple + Happy Ending]

Gentle, wholesome boy × sensitive girl starved for affection

*

In her first year of high school, Su Zhixia’s parents divorced, and she moved in with her grandmother.

She became the quietest person in class, always keeping to herself, with a sadness in her eyes far beyond her years. Like a frightened fawn, she met every kind gesture with suspicion.

Then, in her second year, the arrival of transfer student Lin Ye disrupted her quiet life.

He was a dazzling boy, good at basketball, with a warm smile, yet somehow he noticed her in the corner.

On rainy days, he would walk her home under his umbrella, saying in his clear voice, “Su Zhixia, don’t be afraid. I’m here with you.”

With the purest affection of youth, he healed the shadows left by her broken home and helped her learn to embrace the world again.

When Lin Ye transferred to her school, he recognized Su Zhixia at first sight: the girl who had cried in the garden when they were little, with eyes like a fawn’s.

“When we were kids, all I could give you was a piece of candy. Now that I’m grown up, I want to give you a safe harbor. Zhixia, I’m late, but I won’t leave again.”
