The story tells the story of Li Mingzhe and his three friends' experiences of growing up together in renting a house, working in the workplace, relationships and life in the city. They face failures, laughter, misunderstandings, confusion and dreams, and continue to explore and change. The three volumes respectively focus on the adaptation to the big city for the first time, interpersonal relationships and breakthroughs, and finally finding the direction of life and a happy ending. The whole novel is based on humor, showing the various aspects and warmth of contemporary urban life.
