Tengdo Sakura just wants to lie flat and write melodramatic novels.
Until she runs into Atobe Keigo on the street: the arrogant, flamboyant tennis captain of Hyotei Academy.
Then something strange happens:
Her golden finger, [seeing three honest-thought bubbles every day], goes haywire whenever she gets near Atobe. His unfiltered inner monologue fills the air all around her:
“She looks so good in purple today.”
“Should I ask her out?”
“Oshitari’s watching the show again, ”
Even stranger, the bubbles of everyone nearby start going out of control too. The whole world turns into a noisy sea of scrolling comments.
She runs, he chases, and the bubbles are impossible to escape.
He wants to give her a private corner in the library, but she complains that Hyotei is too noisy;
He wins a Kanto Tournament trophy and presents it to her, but she calls it “way too over the top”;
When he thinks she’s been hurt, he cries out until his voice breaks, while she watches bubbles fill the sky and burst like fireworks:
“Tengdo Sakura, you are my destiny!”
When her older cousin resolutely breaks away from the family, when her childhood friends in F4 are caught up in love and hate, when everyone starts living out the melodramatic plots of her novels
Only the noisiest boy, with his clumsy sincerity, can carve out a quiet place just for the two of them in her bubble-filled world.
“Reading Guide”
◆ Atobe Keigo x Tengdo Sakura (original heroine)
◆ Combines the worlds of Prince of Tennis and Boys Over Flowers
◆ The heroine is no pushover: sharp-tongued, world-weary, but soft-hearted
◆ Atobe is straightforward from start to finish, with extraordinary tenderness beneath his arrogance
◆ Lively ensemble cast, including F4 and Kudo Shinichi
◆ At its heart, a story about freedom, growing up, and making choices
The author's writing made me cry. I also like Atobe Keigo very much.
