"Shu Festival—My 102 Years in Sanxingdui"
I spent hundreds of years pushing Sanxingdui to unify Bashu, but I couldn't save it from natural disasters.
The Sanxingdui Bronze Wheel my father brought back sent me back to the ancient Shu Kingdom three thousand years ago, where I became the high priest.
Facing a tribe whose average life expectancy is only 45 years old, I burned pottery, made salt, diverted water to build cities, and used modern knowledge to build a strong dynasty. The first leader died of a cold, and the second leader was seriously injured and infected. I couldn't save him, so I established a medical system. Papermaking, iron smelting, water conservancy projects... I sowed the seeds that will take place thousands of years later and watched them take root and sprout in this land.
After three generations, the territory of Shu expanded from the Chengdu Plain to the entire Bashu territory. I married the leader's sister and gave birth to children, but then I watched her die in my arms due to the plague. For a hundred years, I promoted reforms, unified writing, and trained the army, hoping to prevent the catastrophe that was erased from the history books.
But natural disasters come too quickly and violently: the earth is torn apart, floods surge into the sky, plague spreads, and snow falls in summer. I have spent all my life learning, but I can only watch the civilization I built with my own hands crumble before the power of nature.
102 Years later, I woke up in a modern hospital, having been in a coma for a hundred days and unable to speak. When my father unearthed the jade album buried deep in the ground based on the memories I left behind--engraved with my last warning for future generations--the academic world was shocked.
And I just held the jade piece I brought back from ancient Shu in my hand and waited quietly on the hospital bed. The civilization that I failed to save a hundred years ago will now tell its story to the world in another way.
