I'm a Forensic Pathologist, Not a Coroner

Top forensic pathologist Shen Zhiwei opens her eyes to find herself in the Tang dynasty, in Chang’an, the daughter of a convicted official and forced into servitude. She takes up the coroner’s autopsy knife.

Within this young body lives a modern soul that lets the evidence speak. She reconstructs crime scenes to solve “ghostly” killings, uses toxicology to uncover palace secrets, and identifies bones to reopen cases buried for years.

Beneath the splendor of Chang’an in its golden age, the dead silently cry out for justice. Wielding her scalpel, she cuts open more than mysteries: she exposes the deepest secrets of her era.

When every clue points toward the shadow of supreme imperial power, she chooses to stand before the Hall of Supreme Harmony and let the evidence speak. In the face of truth, princes and bones stand as equals.
