There are two male leads: a crow beastman and a wolf beastman.
The heroine, Tang Jiu, is just a hardworking employee. During a company team-building trip, she has the worst luck and transmigrates to a beast world, where she meets the male leads.
The crow beastman, Hei Yao, is older and has lived for centuries. A sharp-tongued, cool-headed old hand, he loves making sarcastic remarks but is kind at heart. He has long, straight black hair, takes great care of his feathers, and can't resist anything shiny.
The wolf beastman, Xing Luo, is younger. Hei Yao found him as a pup and raised him. He is a sunny, gentle, cheerful puppy who actually loves socializing, but other beastmen look down on him because of his appearance.
Not long after the heroine transmigrates, Hei Yao brings her home. From then on, she shares a home with a crow and a wolf.
The heroine and both male leads have all had their share of hardship, and each keeps a little secret hidden deep in their heart.
