In the list of gods, after Jiang Ziya became a master, Yuanshi Tianzun gave him three treasures, the divine whip and the apricot-yellow flag. Among them, the four unlike (sacred deer) are the protagonists of our story. The sacred deer was originally an elk living in Fengcaoze of the ancient Yue Kingdom. Later, he was tamed by Yuanshi Tianzun as a mount because of his kind nature, good running skills and long endurance. After the sacred deer was given to Jiang Ziya, he assisted Jiang Ziya in destroying Shang and prospering Zhou Dynasty and made great contributions. Later Jiang Ziya was named the King of Qi. After Jiang Ziya's death, the sacred deer returned to Fengcaoze (now Dafeng, Yancheng) in the ancient Yue Kingdom. And always protect this land.
