Dreams Without End: Poems

People say the lives of ordinary folk are like plain boiled water, bland and tasteless. But we spend half of our several decades of life dreaming. In our dreams, we feast in finery; in our dreams, we reach sudden enlightenment. The joys and sorrows we feel there seem even more real than those we experience awake.

This collection, Dream Without End, has been written on and off since 2018. The pieces deleted or lost don't count; these thousand poems that remain are the fragments I've gathered at the edge of dreams over the past eight years. I know my talent is meager and my writing clumsy, but I pressed on, driven by my wholehearted love of poetry. If I've been willing to share them, it's because I hope they might bring you a smile. If they earn your guidance or affection, I will be deeply grateful and honored.

The book has six volumes, each its own dream:

Volume One: Deep Night Dreams. Volume Two: Absurd White Dreams. Volume Three: Faint Old Dreams. Volume Four: Elusive Little Dreams. Volume Five: Songs of Dreams. Volume Six: Lingering Dreams of Youth.

Each volume is a footnote to the passing years.
