I, an Orphan of Maoshan, Specialize in Slaying Millennia-Old Jiangshi

Maoshan talismans suppress corpses; grave robbers use geomancy to locate tombs.

In the chaotic Republic of China era, yin and yang are thrown out of balance, and a Yuan-dynasty Tusi tomb has become a place where corpses are raised and turned into jiangshi.

Chen Xuan, a disciple of the lineage, descends the mountain with orthodox Taoist arts. Joining forces with a tomb-raiding captain, a disciple of the Qiuqiu sect, and a Miaojiang spirit-medium, he ventures into the Great Xuan Yin Formation.

He breaks deadly feng shui traps with the righteous arts of the Heavenly Stems, and protects the people amid the chaos with an innocent heart.

This is the ultimate clash of Taoist arts and mechanisms, righteousness and evil, life and death.
