What's it like to transmigrate into Elden Ring as a poor kid?
Thanks for asking. I'm in the Lands Between, just past Castle Morne.
In my last life, I was a hardcore player who'd beaten the game several times. I knew the location of every cave in Limgrave with my eyes closed. I thought I had this life in the bag.
Then I found out:
I'm five years old and can't even lift a sword.
My family is so poor we can't save enough food to last the night.
This world has no System, no status screen, no Sites of Grace.
I tried luring the Tree Sentinel at Stormveil Castle's gate, and he chased me for a mile and a half.
But since I'm here anyway,
I've already called dibs on Ranni. I want to find out what it feels like to hold her in my arms.
I'm also pretty curious about what it's like to wield Malenia's prosthetic blade.
As for what's buried beneath the Erdtree...
I know. No one in the Lands Between knows better than I do.
My only consolation is that I really do understand this land better than anyone.
My only worry is that I understand this land better than anyone.
Because I know what the roots are feeding on beneath the places where the Erdtree's golden light shines brightest.
I'll say it again: since I'm here anyway,
I came all this way, so I ought to get a turn on the throne, right?
