The Formless Abode

Infinite-game, rule-based horror, mystery, terror, supernatural, survival, mind games, Chinese horror, suspense. On a rainy night, Lin Yin accidentally stumbles into the Nameless Abode. To survive, he enters a terrifying instance known as the Theater in the Mirror. Here, seeing is not necessarily believing. Only by using an ancient demon-revealing mirror can he glimpse the deadly rules hidden beneath appearances. He fights to survive and eventually escapes with a bloodstained key. But the real nightmare has only just begun. He discovers that he has been afflicted by a mysterious “contamination.” His body begins to mutate, and it seems another “himself” is hiding in his shadow. To stay alive, he must keep returning to the Nameless Abode, struggling to survive in instances filled with uncanny rules. Paying rent in the currency of “fear,” he unravels one mystery after another and searches for the truth about the world. This is a deadly game played between reality and illusion, where every step teeters on the edge of madness.
