Entwined from Dawn to Dusk, Never Parting in Life or Death

[Xuanhuan] + [Cultivation] + [Dual Heroines] + [System] + [No Harem]

A cool, aloof fairy of the righteous path and a bold, wanton demoness of the demonic path should have met in a life-or-death battle.

But a sudden change in a secret realm binds them together by a mysterious contract they cannot defy.

From then on, their fates are dictated by countless cold, unyielding rules:

[Mission One: Stay within ten feet of each other at all times.]

[Mission Two: Share your spiritual energy and merge your origins.]

[Mission Three: Sleep in the same bed and keep each other's hearts company.]

Refuse, and their dignity remains intact but their foundations are destroyed; comply, and they lose their boundaries and dignity, but ascension is within reach.

The two, as incompatible as fire and water, are forced to travel together. They go from warily eyeing each other with murderous intent to offering help when death is at hand; from cold taunts born of opposing loyalties and prejudice to a faint, inexplicable tenderness that quietly takes root in their darkest hour.

This chain, forged through compulsion, somehow draws their hearts ever closer through one perilous trial after another and the storms that keep coming from the outside world.

When the contract's shackles are finally broken, will they have turned the chasm between righteousness and evil into a path they can walk together?

Will this start, forced upon them from the start, end with them standing side by side, or forgetting each other in the world?

This is a story that begins in bondage and ends in true love.

Forced to become one, their song of ice and fire begins.
