My Mahjong Partner at the Funeral Home: My Unusual Coworker Is Seriously Impressive

I thought a night shift at a funeral home paying 1,600 a day would be a hellish start, but then I stumbled upon the hidden perks of my unusual coworkers...

A retired veteran from the bearing factory who helps me get a raise, a suit-wearing uncle who loves mahjong, a cheongsam-clad auntie who can sing and dance, and an adorable little sister who loves touching up her makeup. Together, we make a table of card buddies and turn the vigil hall into a team-building party.

A Taoist-robed soul thief? We chase him off with mahjong tiles. Difficult clients? My unusual coworkers talk them into submission. Cutthroat workplace competition? With a whole team of spirits backing me, I coast my way to deputy director!

A friendly reminder: If you come looking for me at the funeral home, don't ask about the vigil. Just ask if we're short one player, especially someone who can sing "Song of the Hero"~
