Farming in Great Wei: I Summon Heroic Spirits with Five Grains to Raise the Powerful

In the final years of the Great Wei dynasty, the Heavenly Dao shattered, and gods and demons fought in chaos. A folk legend claimed that whoever could grow the “Divine Five-Grain Seedling” would awaken the heroes of the Three Kingdoms.

Chen Xiaodou was twenty-two, a lazy farmer with no parents, scraping by on three acres of poor farmland. One day, while plowing, he unearthed a battered bronze pot, covered in rust.

On the night of the full moon, he cooked a meal, and a wisp of smoke emerged from the pot, claiming to be Lü Bu. It refused to work unless he fed it. And so began a ridiculous daily life: growing corn to raise Zhang Fei, feeding sweet potatoes to sustain Guan Yu, and keeping Zhao Yun going with pickled cabbage soup.

The heroes vanished when hungry and caused trouble when full. The imperial court took him for a practitioner of evil magic and sent Taoist priests to capture him, only for the wine immortal Li Bai to kick them into a manure pit.

Every meal was a wager against the Heavenly Dao. The more they ate, the more likely a thunder tribulation was to strike. All he wanted was a quiet life farming, but every time he dug into the earth, another ancient big shot popped out, crying for food.
